Vaccination at SDN Joglo 01 Pagi Targets 700 Elementary Students

Vaccination which held at SDN Joglo 01 Pagi, Jalan Komplek DKI. Joglo Urban Village, Kembangan, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/15) targeted to vaccinate 700 children aged 6-11 years.

Parents don't have to worry about bringing their children to be vaccinated

Joglo I Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas) Head, Ani Riana mentioned, it involved 10 health workers and used Sinovac vaccines.

"We are targeting 700 elementary students aged 6-11 year to participate in vaccination held at SDN Joglo," she explained.

She ensured that vaccination is safe because before injection, medical officer will first check children's health. It their health does not allow for vaccination, then the injection will be postponed.

"So, parents don't have to worry about bringing their children to be vaccinated. It is for the sake of children's immune system to stay healthy," she asserted.

SDN Joglo 01 Pagi Principal, Sriyanti welcomed vaccination for students. She hopes all students can be vaccinated to create herd immunity in school environment.

"We positively welcome vaccination for children. Hopefully it can prevent COVID-19 transmission in school environment," she stated.
